Recruiting Coordinator

The Recruiting Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the broader regional recruiting efforts and strategy under the guidance of the Recruiting Manager. This position is key in assisting with staffing initiatives, workforce development, and onboarding processes to attract top talent across both skilled and entry-level positions. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Recruiting Manager and Regional Recruiters to execute on recruitment strategies, ensure smooth onboarding, and build talent pipelines through local partnerships.
Job Responsibilities
- · Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager and Regional Recruiters to understand staffing needs and contribute to the execution of regional recruiting strategies.
- · Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, conducting interviews, managing background checks, and extending offers in compliance with company policies.
- · Draft and deliver offer letters, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company policies.
- · Track and maintain applicant data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring accurate and organized records for all recruitment activities.
- · Establish and maintain partnerships with local trade schools, community organizations, and state workforce development programs to develop a pipeline of candidates.
- · Represent the company at job fairs, school career days, and community outreach events to promote employment opportunities.
- · Assist in coordinating workforce development initiatives aimed at attracting skilled and entry-level candidates to the organization.

Directional Boring Operator

We are looking for an Underground Construction Directional Driller to join our growing team. The Directional Driller will be responsible for operating the directional drill and/or locating for the rig. We are looking for experienced individuals with knowledge of the construction industry.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate drilling equipment and various other construction equipment used on the jobsite to complete daily work assignments
- Drill and/or locate predetermined path to exit point
- Assist in potholing
- Perform duties in standard and high-risk areas
- Safely and successfully perform duties in all temperatures and climates
- Perform physical tasks for the entire assigned work shift
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school or equivalent education
- Valid Driver’s License
- Pass a pre-employment drug test and MVR
- At least 1 year of recent experience in drilling/locating in standard and high-risk areas
- Ability to operate all equipment safely and productively
- Possess knowledge of utility depth and placement as well as general knowledge of construction practices and equipment

Locator

The Locator position is responsible for pinpointing the paths of cables, pipes and other conduits that carry utilities underground. Locators’ efforts protect underground utilities from damage during projects involving excavation.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for accurately and safely search for and marking underground utilities in a designated area.
- Indicate utility locations through the utilization of paint and flags.
- Complete necessary documentation regarding the marking and photographing of each locate.
- Receive work tickets, open, document, close and provide follow-up summary of work.
- Perform light excavation with shovel, to expose buried utilities when necessary.
- Respond to emergency calls, as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Field Technician

Fiber Splicer
Full-time, non-exempt

Primary responsibilities include ability to splice/test/repair cables/wires in both indoor and outdoor settings, read, create, and maintain splicing diagrams, maintain activities surrounding the assigned work site(s), and take splicing field notes.
Job Responsibilities
- Ability to read prints and understand the fiber optic color code to install and test fiber cable in a variety of environments (underground, aerial)
- Ability to use fiber fusion splicing machines (including a mass fusion splicing machine) and operate a variety of different OTDR and power meters
- Ability to a place both aerial and underground splice closures along with a variety of other closures common to the splicing and termination of fiber optic cables
- Perform testing utilizing OTDRs, Power Meter/Light Sources, and VFLs. Record and document testing per customer specifications.
- Bond and ground fibers according to client specifications
- Always maintain a professional working attitude with co-workers and customers and adhere to safety practices and procedures
- Additional responsibilities as directed by the Foreman/Construction Manager
- Familiarization with Fujikura splicing tools and materials is a plus
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 1 + years of experience as a fiber splicer
- Experience while working from blueprints, specifications, and system documentation
- Will have a thorough working knowledge of the most widely used construction practices of fiber cable
- Current valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
- Must be capable of carrying a 24-foot ladder and wearing fall protection when needed
- Work up to 6 days per week in an all-weather environment and be willing to travel as required
